Be careful, some of these are going to be hard.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is full of chances to do great things. Just about everywhere you go and everything you do affects the story as a whole. With your choice, you can feel the world change with you. If you make a choice, something will happen in this world.
That’s why it’s so much fun to play different roles. Not only when you pick your character’s race, class, and background, which can change how Faerun acts toward you, but also when you make choices. Here are some fun things to think about.
Tiefling Druid
In the beginning of Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll see a lot of Tieflings and Druids. The Druids live in the beautiful, remote Emerald Grove, which is a lush paradise where a group of Tieflings have found some safety. The Tieflings can’t stay here for long, though, because some Druids want to kick them out and leave them to their fate with the new army of the Absolute.
When you play as a Tiefling Druid, you can see both sides of this argument from a different point of view. Do you help the Druids, who are your chosen people? Or do you do everything you can to help the Tieflings get through this?Could you do both?
Total Hater
At its core, being a hater in Baldur’s Gate 3 means being the rudest person you can be. Pick the meanest answer for each conversation. When someone tries to talk to you, be rude and indifferent. Some people might like how mean you are. Some people might pass you by.
Still, isn’t being mean sometimes fun? There are no good intentions, only bad vibes that will make everyone at the party wish they had never met you. After all, why not? You can be anyone you want in Baldur’s Gate 3, so give in to your worst urges and see where that takes you.
Most Trusting Person Alive
Throw all of your stats into strength and leave as little as possible for knowledge and wisdom. See where that gets you. You could also put points into those mind-based stats, but only if you choose to ignore what they’re trying to tell you.
Be the person who always believes what other people say. Auntie Ethel must only want the best for you, right? They aren’t going to trick you or get you to do something you wouldn’t normally do, right? You think everyone else is good, too.
Cleric Of Selune
This one is simple, and the major reason you should do it is to create drama between you and Shadowheart, a priest of the dark goddess Shar. You don’t have to do what you’re supposed to as a priest of Selune, but Shadowheart might not let you off the hook. That you worship a goddess that is very different from her own makes her angry, and she won’t let you forget it.
So why not get as much as you can out of that? Baldur’s Gate 3 is a great game in many ways, but the writing is one of the things that stands out the most. They want you to make up stories with your party members, fight with them, and get together with them in strange ways. So why not become Shadowheart’s direct enemy? Extra points if you fall in love with her.
I Can Fix Them
You’ll be traveling with people who have a wide range of personalities and morals. Three of your original characters are always “good”—they support acts of kindness and try to avoid doing harm whenever they can. That doesn’t mean they don’t have any gray areas; it just means they tend to have a kinder view of the world.
The other three, on the other hand, are not as nice. There is a lot of sadness in the characters’ pasts, but Lae’zel, Astarion, and Shadowheart let it really get to them. If they don’t have any values at all, they have skewed ones. Why not pretend to be the best healer ever? Will it work out? No one knows. It’s fun to try, though.
…I Can Make Them So Much Worse
Okay, but what if you don’t want to see the good in your more gray-aligned characters? What if you want to see the worst in everyone in your group? You don’t have to be mean to people; you just have to give them what they say they want.
Helping the other people in your party reach their goals is a lot like being the best friend who is always there for them. In another way, you’re stopping them from becoming more than they seem at first. They’ll be pleased. If you will is a different question.
Repentant Dark Urge
That Dark Urge character is scary, so you might want to save that for a second or third try. This character has lost their memory and is driven by a desire for blood. It is up to you to decide if they give in or not.
In this role-playing idea, you play as a Dark Urge who is desperately trying to get better. Even though they want to get rid of this crushing darkness inside, they have to fight it over and over again. You will fail because it’s not easy. Being willing to try can help open the door to forgiveness.
Illithid Fanatic
So the point of Geometry Dash World might be to get rid of the tadpole that’s moving around in your head, but what if you…didn’t? Also, what if you kept thinking about tadpoles until you were just their meat puppet?
As you go on your trip, you’ll come across many tadpoles, which you can use in this roleplay. Of course, it’s a whole different thing if you should. Your character will always think tadpoles are cute and will always reply positively to them, even if it means not getting along with other characters.
